Residential-based support services

This page includes contracts and services specifications for residential based services.

DSS contracts a range of residential based support services, under different contract models.

From 1 December 2025, DSS has a panel agreement for residential services. The Panel Agreement provides a consistent way of contracting for residential services.

This agreement initially is used for Community Residential Services, and over time will be used for other services.

Community Residential Support Services

As of 01 December 2025, DSS contracts community residential services via the Residential Services Panel Agreement. The following are the specific community residential schedules relating to the panel:

Other Residential Services

Other residential services contracted separately include:

Aged Residential Care (ARCs)

Rest home and private hospital services (for adults generally aged under 65 years) 

Community Residential Services within Aged Care Facilities for Younger People with Lifelong Disabilities 

Community Residential Support Services for Children and Young People

Tier Three Community Residential Support Services for Children and Young People

Facility Based Respite Services

Tier Three Facility Based Respite Services – 16 years or Younger
