About the forums

Topics covered in the 60-minute forums will be of varied interest to different provider service types and care settings.

The forums will be open to all providers.

We’ll co-host some forums with other organisations, e.g. Te Tāhū Hauora Health Quality and Safety Commission.

For each upcoming forum we’ll let you know:

• When it will be held
• Who should attend
• What we’ll cover
• How to register.

All provider forums will be recorded. The recordings will be available on our Previous forums page. 

Upcoming forums

Our next Provider Quality Forum on 30 September offers early insights from the Enhanced Audit Programme, a walk-through on how the programme is being implemented, and a chance to ask questions. 

The Enhanced Audit Programme creates a more consistent, transparent, and outcomes-focused approach to assessing quality, safeguarding, and effectiveness of services. It is underway with community group homes and will expand to other disability support services and provider categories over time. 

At the forum you will hear from us and our audit partner, KPMG, including:

• early observations from audits completed so far 
• a walk-through the audit framework and how it is being applied in practice
• next steps and what providers can expect as the programme rolls out opportunities to ask questions.
