RFP - Safeguarding training for care and support workers

Disability Support Services (DSS) invites suitably qualified and experienced providers to bid for the Disability Care and Support Workers Safeguarding Training Package and Implementation Request for Proposal (RFP). 

DSS is looking for a provider who can co-develop and support delivery of a national safeguarding training programme for disability care and support workers, providing care for disabled adults.

This project forms part of the Government response to the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care. This is a specific agency initiative, aiming to strengthen safeguarding capability across high-risk disability support settings.

The proposed contract term is 3 years, with an indicative start date of December 2026.
